Bonjour !
I am Laurine. I was born in France, where I lived for the first 20 years of my life. I moved to the UK just over ten years ago, to teach French as a foreign language. My whole family still lives in France so I am kept abreast of all language evolution in real time!
I started as a teaching assistant in a secondary school, where I prepared students for their GCSEs and A-levels.
I then moved on to teaching at university, first as a teaching assistant and then as a lecturer. I taught French and Translation to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all over the world. This is when I started my YouTube channel, to bridge the gap in understanding basic grammar between students.
After a couple of years spent travelling and living in Australia and in France, I came back to the UK and started working as a self-employed, teaching, translating and creating content for French learners. I was hired by the language learning app Bunpo to create the content for the French course and coordinate with other European-language writers.

I am passionate about teaching, specifically about teaching grammar, and I must admit this is where I find the most joy! I give French tuition to groups, individuals and even couples, both in a corporate and personal setting.

I also have a part-time job (that has nothing to do with French but that I still enjoy!) that occupies me every morning of the week, so I am unavailable to teach in the mornings.
